Ice Cube is a Hip-Hop icon and one of the founders of the most controversial rap sub-genre, gangsta rap. The West Coast-based rapper released his last album, Raw Footage, two years ago.
Ice Cube’s fans have been waiting for him to release another album for a long time, with announced dates of when I Am the West would be in stores, followed by blogs written by the rapper himself apologizing for the delayed publication.
The new album will be on the market September 28th, but for now Ice Cube has decided to let his fans have a little taste of what to expect. In the past few days, the former N.W.A. member released Drink the Kool-Aid, his second single after I Rep the West, which hit the radio stations in April of this year.
